If you would like to take advantage of the Sharp devices' built-in AirPrint functionality while using Directprint Red, please follow the steps outlined below.
To enable printing from iOS devices, you will need to configure a user account that will consistently be used for authentication on the Sharp MFDs. In this example, we will use an internal user. The MFD User ID and MFD password associated with this account will be required to authenticate each print job from the iOS device.

Configuration Steps:
- Log in to the Sharp Admin Console and navigate to System Settings.
- Go to Network Settings.
- Open the External Print Services section.
- Enter the MFD Username into the Default User Name for User Authentication field.
- Click Submit and allow the Sharp device to reboot.
- Once the device has restarted, go to your iOS device and perform a test print to confirm the setup.
